Northern Powerhouse Market Visit to Beijing

From 27th February to 2nd March, 2016, Coway International TechTrans Co., Ltd. received a delegation from Northern England, and worked with RTC North to organize a 4-day market visit for visiting enterprises.

This market visit was initiated by RTC North, with over 20 enterprises from various industries including medical and healthcare devices, consulting and training, interaction technology, biotechnology, digital technology, software development, IoT device, manufacturing, etc. In addition to visiting CBBC, British embassy and the Life Science Park, Coway arranged several match-making meetings for some of the British enterprises and help them to find potential partners in China. The meetings have been proven very effective.

Coway has recently launched a new project named Co-medevice, a platform designed to showcase medical device projects from abroad and connects these projects with domestic resources. On the occasion of this market visit, project managers of Coway met with three medical device enterprises——GEM Nutrition, Helena Biosciences and Inclusive Innovations——to discuss about cooperation over the Co-medevice.

Match-making meeting between Top Screen Media and BOE was also arranged, and yielded very good outcomes.
