Science and Technology Development Fund of Macao Visits Coway

On May 24, 2016, Science and Technology Development Fund of Macao (FDCT) paid a visit to Coway International TechTrans Co., Ltd., and exchanged insights with Coway about the status-quo of technology transfer in both mainland China and Macao S.A.R.

The FDCT delegation consisted of Mr. Cheang Kun Wai and Mr. Ma Zhiyi, Chairmen of Administrative Committee; Mr. Xujun, Assistant to Vice-minister of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao S. A. R.; Mr. Ye Guilin, senior manager of FDCT.

During the meeting, Dr. Tan introduced Tsinghua University’s technology transfer system, Coway’s business model and part of its typical successful cases, as well as Coway’s best practices and experiences in the field of technology transfer, etc. This meeting was proven to be productive and has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between Coway and FDCT.

FDCT was established under No. 14/2004 administrative law of Macao S.A.R., and is directly supervised by Chief Executive of Macao S.A.R. FDCT is positioned to provide educational and research projects with various supports in alignment with Macao’s science and technology policies.
